Liquid Vitamins ? Has anyone tried different kinds of liquid vitamins? If so which one did you find to be the best? I have a son with ADHD. We started him on a liquid vitamin and it helps calm him down and focus but it's really expensive! I was wondering if there was another product that works?

I dropped liquid vitamins on my carpet. Does anyone know how to remove the spot/smell? While giving my son a dose of liquid infant vitamins I dropped the bottle on the floor. If you have never used this type of supplement, let me tell you...They have a hue similar to iodine and smell very strongly of iron (also an igredient). I have been able to get the majority of the stain out of our rose colored carpet, but, my son's room smells very bad now. The entire room is permeated with the smell of iron. I don't know how to remove the smell. The vitamins are regular over the counter enfamil liquid vitamins with iron.

Stomach acids seem to destroy some things which means you can't absorb them, but basic vitamins and minerals seem to be okay? Does anyone remember the name of the children's liquid vitamins back in the 1950s? I remember mom calling them by an unusual name. They came with an eye dropper to give the proper amount. It had an unusually strong aroma as well. I have smelled that aroma before when I open some vitamin containers, but for the life of me, cannot remember the original name. Keep in mind this was the late 50s and very early 60s I am referring to, if not earlier. I gave my son liquid vitamins in the 1970s, but these were not the same brand name I had as a small child. As I got older, I took Chocks and also One A Days that were little red pills. They had a tart taste, because I would chew them instead of swallowing. lol I think I must have had a very unusual palate when it came to things like that. Any help figuring out the name of those liquid vitamins would be appreciated. :) Gimp, yes I believe you are right. Still rackin' my brain here trying to remember the name. The problem is, I'm having a hard time trying to get her to take them. She won't drink it straight out of the syringe that comes with it (which I don't blame her). So, I've been putting it in her drink, but then she doesn't drink the whole thing. I put very little in her cup because I figured then she will drink it all down. But she hardly ever drinks it all.
