Liquid Vitamins ? Has anyone tried different kinds of liquid vitamins? If so which one did you find to be the best? I have a son with ADHD. We started him on a liquid vitamin and it helps calm him down and focus but it's really expensive! I was wondering if there was another product that works?
I dropped liquid vitamins on my carpet. Does anyone know how to remove the spot/smell? While giving my son a dose of liquid infant vitamins I dropped the bottle on the floor. If you have never used this type of supplement, let me tell you...They have a hue similar to iodine and smell very strongly of iron (also an igredient). I have been able to get the majority of the stain out of our rose colored carpet, but, my son's room smells very bad now. The entire room is permeated with the smell of iron. I don't know how to remove the smell. The vitamins are regular over the counter enfamil liquid vitamins with iron.
Can my childs liquid vitamins go bad? I accidentally left the cap off the vitamins over night. They don't expire until next year. They are children liquid vitamins prescribed by the doctor. They are stored at room temperature, do you think they should be okay to keep giving my child? Or should I wait to get a new bottle before I give them?
Looking for the most potent chewable and liquid vitamins? Just had gastric sleeve and use to love taking vitamins and now i cant swallow. Without having to drink the fish oil are there any very potent chewable vitamins for omega and liquid or chewable for everything else? Please provide names since i am not near every chain store. Are liquid vitamins acceptable in place of tablets? Lots of conflicting information and I can't seem to find good sources. Stomach acids seem to destroy some things which means you can't absorb them, but basic vitamins and minerals seem to be okay? Your body doesn't "instantly" begin absorbing this stuff, it has to pass through a rather acidic environment.
Liquid vitamins for an autistic child? Can anyone recommend a liquid vitamin supplement that would give my autistic child the RDA of her daily vitamins. It would have to be a liquid that I could add to milk or apple juice that would not change the taste so she will still drink it.
Liquid baby vitamins for fish? I read using liquid baby vitamins in your fish tank is good when you are treating them for a disease to help boost their immune etc? I thought it was weird, what do you guys think? Thanks that makes more sense. The site I read said to add it directly to the water. 1 drop per 5 gallons...and I just thought that didn't seem like it would be very helpful.
Are liquid vitamins better than pill vitamins? This is what I heard= Liquid vitamins begin to absorb in the mouth and on the way down. Liquid vitamins mostly absorb before being destroyed by stomach acids. Pill type uses hyper potentcies to compensate for non absorbation problems. my personnal experience is that some high potent pill vitamins causes stomach distress. What's your opinion?
Absorption of liquid vitamins better? I am reading a lot of conflicting information about the liquid multivitamins. They are expensive, but do they really absorb better? Would a gel capsule be equally good? I prefer to hear from someone who does not have a business interest in this, so I can get objective information. Thanks!
Is it the same mixing Vitamin Liquid in milk? I bought some enfamil liquid vitamins for my 1 year old. On the instructions it says you can give it by mouth or mix it in with cereal or milk so they could take it better. The vitamin smells nasty so i dont give it by mouth because she wont take it. Will mixing it in the milk give her the full amount of vitamin as if she took it by mouth?
Liquid Vitamins vs Pill Vitamins? Are liquid vitamins better than pill vitamins? I have tried to stick with the pill form of vitamins. However, I am interested in finding out whether it is better to go liquid vs pill so that I can make adjustments.
How do I give liquid Vitamin D to my baby? I just gave a birth to my beautiful daughter. Her pediatrician gave me a bottle of liquid Vitamin D since I breastfeed exclusively. I tried to give it to my daughter, but she didn't take it at all. I heard that I should mix the vitamin with my milk, but there is a good amount of vitamin that I have to give, and I can pump so much every time. I'm also afraid that she will get used to the bottle and won't eat from my breast any more. I'm hoping to get good answers from breastfeeding moms. Thanks.
Liquid Vitamins Vs. Solid Pill form.... True? I heard that your body absorbs more of the vitamins if you take them in liquid form versus the solid pill form. Is this true or does your body just absorb them faster? Just wondering because I take a multivitamin in a solid pill form and I'm wondering if it would be beneficial to switch to a liquid version. Thanks!
Anyone here use or have used a chewable or liquid prenatal vitamin? I am trying so hard to take my vitamins but the pills are massive and I choked on birth control pills, so there is no way I can get these down and crushing them makes me vomit. I was online and heard of Bloom'en Prenatal vitamin chews, they are citrus flavored anyone here heard of them or used them, or any other form of chewable or liquid vitamin I could use? Any info would be greatly appreciated.
Is there such thing as liquid hair vitamins? I can't swallow pills.? I'm having problems with brittle damaged hair and am seeking a good liquid-form hair vitamin. I got some tablet form hair vitamins from whole foods, I nearly choked myself even after cutting the pill in half, so I ended up giving the pills to my sister. :( Is there any brand out there that makes hair vitamins in a liquid form?
Looking for a new liquid vitamin and mineral formula? I have been taking a prenatal vitamin for over two years and am looking for a change. I am interested in liquid because I think it will absorb better. I would also like it to be made from organic fruits and vegetables. Any sugestions?

My dog will not take her vitamins! What is good tasting liquid vitamin your dog takes without a "fuss" I was able to get a vitamin pill in her by wrapping cheese around it, but she got wise to it. Anyone know of a liquid vitamin for dogs. or Can she take like Flintstones or liquid vitamins for children? She has stopped eating her dry Nutro, I have tried Merricks, Duck and Potato something....uh...Solid Gold buffalo and salmon...you name it.....she will just not eat any dry dog food anymore. I have now resorted to cooking chicken and rice with peas and baking sweet potatoes...she is driving us crazy..the people that had her before said she would not eat dry and I believe it... I was wanting her to get some vitamins in her somehow.. Thank you all for these answers..they are enlightening..for sure!!
Does anyone remember the name of the children's liquid vitamins back in the 1950s? I remember mom calling them by an unusual name. They came with an eye dropper to give the proper amount. It had an unusually strong aroma as well. I have smelled that aroma before when I open some vitamin containers, but for the life of me, cannot remember the original name. Keep in mind this was the late 50s and very early 60s I am referring to, if not earlier. I gave my son liquid vitamins in the 1970s, but these were not the same brand name I had as a small child. As I got older, I took Chocks and also One A Days that were little red pills. They had a tart taste, because I would chew them instead of swallowing. lol I think I must have had a very unusual palate when it came to things like that. Any help figuring out the name of those liquid vitamins would be appreciated. :) Gimp, yes I believe you are right. Still rackin' my brain here trying to remember the name. It's on the tip of my tongue. lol Help is definitely needed to come up with an answer. Sorry 'God Cares' that doesn't seem familiar. I'm guessing here,, It was one word and the last syllable was dac or dec. I may be incorrect on that. Don't want to throw anyone off trying to remember. I'm either right or wrong. True Me She, they do smell the same. Maybe we are getting close, but the Vita Drops is not the name I am looking for. This is one of those things that drives a person nuts until you find the answer..well at least me! lol
What kind of vitamins are good for a toddler after a broken arm? My 4 year old broke his arm just above the wrist 7 weeks ago and he refuses to take medicine or vitamins can anyone recomend a liquid vitamin that might be easier to give him instead of a pill form. I want to make sure he gets his bone strength back, I've tried the flinstones gummy vitamins and he eats them for a couple of days then refuses to take them again. Something that can be mixed in with his juice or food would be the best.
Is it safe to give my 2 year old chewable vitamins? He's currently taking enfamil liquid vitamins and has since he was about a year old. Now that he's able to chew I wanted to switch him to something less expensive (those liquid vitamins run at about $10.00 a bottle).
Are there any chewable vitamins available for children under age two? The doctor prescribed some liquid vitamins for my 19 month old daughter. The problem is, I'm having a hard time trying to get her to take them. She won't drink it straight out of the syringe that comes with it (which I don't blame her). So, I've been putting it in her drink, but then she doesn't drink the whole thing. I put very little in her cup because I figured then she will drink it all down. But she hardly ever drinks it all. How do I know if she's drinking enough of it to get the correct amount of vitamins she needs? I just wish I could find a chewable vitamin for her, but all the ones I've looked at say it's not suitable for children under 2. Any suggestions? A note to WhoAmI : Have you ever tried to keep a toddler on a well balanced diet every single day? It doesn't work because there are days when they want to eat a lot, then there are days when they hardly want to eat at all. You cannot force them to eat. So, therefore, vitamins are the next best thing, especially when they are sick and not feeling up to eating.
Any vets here? I need liquid vitamins for my new black lab...? Hi! I use to have a rottweiler, and the vet at that time told me to give him calcium and vitamins everyday, but I can't remember the brands...I have a three months old black lab now, that I got a couple of days ago (his name is Romeo, and he is way too adorable!) And what do you think of giving him a raw egg with his dry food? (Even if you are not a vet, please give me your advice, I'll appreciate it) Thanks!
